The most successful businesspeople are those who know how to sell their product to an audience that doesn’t even realize that it needs the item, especially decades after it was made. That’s certainly the case for filmmaker Stanley Jacobs and his new documentary, ‘Pitch People.’
The never-before-seen movie is finally being released, a quarter-century after it was shot. SJPL Films, Ltd. is set to distribute the feature on iTunes, Amazon Prime Video and Google Play on Friday, May 17.
Jacobs wrote, directed and produced ‘Pitch People.’ The documentary stars Arnold Morris, Nancy Nelson, Lester Morris, Al Spino, Sandy Mason, Ed McMahon, Jerry Crowley, Joe Fowler, Jan Muller, John Parkin, Chester Nairne, Wally Nash, Jerry Mascuzzio, James Mason, Ian Long and Harry Matheson.
‘Pitch People’ grants an inside look at the history of the pitch business. After starting in Europe, it made its way to the boardwalks of the United States and exploded on late night television. The film features many of the greatest pitch men and women of their time who became famous to millions with the advent of direct response television advertising.
